Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Find answers to common questions about Prizee Raffle, on-chain randomness, non-custodial smart escrow, wallets, and campaign creation.

1. General Protocol Questions

What is Prizee Raffle?

Prizee Raffle is a decentralized, non-custodial lottery and raffle protocol built on Arc Network. It allows users to participate in provably fair jackpot draws and enables Web3 creators to launch custom prize raffles and task-based giveaways with 100% on-chain transparency.

How is Prizee Raffle different from traditional lotteries?

Traditional lotteries and social media giveaways rely on centralized custodians, opaque random number generators, and hidden ticket sales. Prizee Raffle operates entirely on public smart contracts:

  • Non-Custodial Escrow: Prize funds are locked in audited smart contracts (CircleSmartEscrow) at round creation.
  • Provably Fair Draws: Winning numbers are derived deterministically from future Arc block hashes.
  • Instant Payouts: Winners claim directly from smart contracts into their wallets without intermediaries.

Which network does Prizee Raffle run on?

Prizee Raffle is deployed natively on Arc Network (Arc Testnet / Mainnet). Arc Network is an EVM-compatible blockchain utilizing native USDC as its gas fee token, offering sub-second transaction finality and negligible gas costs.

2. Fair Play & Winning Verification

How are winning jackpot numbers drawn?

Prizee Raffle utilizes a block-hash-seeded Pseudo-Random Number Generation (PRNG) model:

  1. When a jackpot round closes, the contract records a predefined future block height on Arc Network.
  2. Once that block is mined, its immutable cryptographic block hash is fed into the draw algorithm.
  3. Six 2-digit numbers ranging from 01 to 55 are generated (00 and 56–99 are skipped). Because no one (including the Prizee core team or validators) can predict future block hashes, the outcome cannot be manipulated or front-run.

Can I independently verify the draw results?

Yes. Every round stores its settlement block height, block hash, and ticket hash list directly on ArcScan block explorer. You can replicate the derivation formula locally using the open-source verification scripts provided in the Public API & Verification Guide.

What happens if nobody hits the jackpot?

New jackpots are rolling only. If no ticket matches the required pairs, the pool stays in escrow, the deadline extends (24h / 3 days / 7 days / custom), and tickets remain valid for the next Arc block-hash draw. The pool is not paid to a single fallback winner. (Older one-draw rounds can still settle as they were created.)

What is the random algorithm in Raffle mode, and how do I know developers cannot manipulate the outcome?

In Raffle campaigns (Random Draw mode), winners are selected using a Deterministic Cryptographic Scoring model driven by a future Arc Network block hash:

  1. The Draw Algorithm:

    • When the raffle participation window closes, the protocol locks the list of qualified participants and awaits the mining of the subsequent target block on Arc Network.
    • The immutable cryptographic hash of this future block (future block hash) serves as the unbiased entropy seed (seed).
    • The participant's X username is snapshotted when the required tasks are completed, normalized to lowercase, and stored without @. A unique cryptographic score is then computed using SHA-256:
      Score = SHA-256(Block_Hash + ":" + lowercase(X_Username_without_@))
    • All participants are sorted by their Score in lexicographical order. The top $N$ participants with the lowest scores are deterministically awarded the prizes ($N$ is the winner count configured by the campaign creator).

Worked example — 4 eligible users, 2 reward slots

Assume the recorded Arc block hash is:

    0xabc1230000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The exact UTF-8 inputs are <Block_Hash>:<normalized_x_username>. After hashing and sorting the lowercase hexadecimal scores in ascending lexicographical order:

    RankX username snapshotSHA-256 scoreResult
    1bob37fa38e5d9f37b9d7e9132f3a6dcefc3dea1507416dc9cbde9f11ea421b4ced4Winner
    2anna7cfcbe9e103c3459e19afa569d04ca7f81564fa684c1982e30ea8c9c19b6407fWinner

Because $N = 2$, the two smallest scores belong to @bob and @anna, so they are the winners. The Cryptographic Draw Proof section displays the winner ranks, snapshotted X keys, full scores, and lets users copy the complete audit JSON. Random raffles drawn before this scoring version retain their legacy User ID formula so historical results remain reproducible; undrawn raffles upgrade when they settle.

  2. Why developers cannot manipulate the results (Tamper-Proof):

    • Unpredictable Future Entropy: No entity — including the core development team, network validators, or pool creators — can predict the cryptographic hash of a future block before it is mined.
    • Immutable On-Chain Proof: Once mined, the block hash is permanently recorded on Arc Network and verifiable by anyone on ArcScan Explorer. Developers cannot alter or spoof this value.
    • 100% Deterministic: SHA-256 is an open standard mathematical hash function. Given the same block hash and participant IDs, any computer anywhere in the world will compute the exact same ordering every single time.
    • Independently Verifiable: Any user can take the public block hash from ArcScan and re-run the SHA-256 scoring script locally. Any attempt to modify the winner roster would produce an invalid hash sequence and be caught immediately.

What is the automatic reward payout mechanism for winners?

Prizee Raffle operates on a Non-Custodial, Zero Human Intervention payout architecture:

  1. Non-Custodial Smart Escrow:
    • When a campaign is created, 100% of the advertised prize pool (USDC, EURC, cirBTC) is deposited directly into the CircleSmartEscrow smart contract. No human or administrator has discretionary access to these locked funds.
  2. For FCFS (First-Come, First-Served) Tasks:
    • USDC raffles: as soon as your tasks verify, your slot locks and that slot’s USDC share is paid from escrow to your connected WALLET.
    • Custom raffles (whitelist, NFT, merch): you receive one prize unit (for example 10 GTD slots → you get 1 GTD). Delivery uses X, Telegram, and wallet on your Profile — there is no extra contact form on the raffle. The in-app notification shows the prize name; tap it to open the raffle WINNERS tab.
  3. For Jackpot & Random Raffles:
    • Once the countdown timer ends and the settlement block is mined, the system triggers the on-chain payout routine (payoutFromEscrow / sendUsdcPayout).
    • Prizes are disbursed in a direct on-chain transaction straight to each winner's verified wallet address.
  4. No Manual Claim or Withdrawal Button Needed:
    • Winners do not need to submit withdrawal requests or await manual approval from admins. The funds appear directly in your on-chain wallet balance.
    • Every payout generates an immutable transaction hash (TxHash) verifiable on ArcScan Explorer, and @prizee_noti_bot instantly sends real-time payout notifications to Telegram.

3. Wallets, Accounts & Gas Fees

Do I need a browser wallet?

You can sign in with Google, X, Discord, or email (Privy) without a wallet. To buy tickets, swap, seed a pool, use the faucet, or receive USDC prizes you must tap Connect wallet on Profile and approve an injected wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Rainbow, Coinbase, or Phantom) on Arc Testnet. New accounts do not get a Circle wallet.

What currency is used to buy tickets and pay gas?

  • Tickets & Raffles: Denominated in USDC (standard stablecoin).
  • Network Gas Fees: Arc Network uses native USDC for gas. You do not need volatile native tokens (such as ETH or MATIC) to pay for transactions.

How do I get testnet USDC?

Navigate to the Faucet tab inside the Prizee Raffle app (/faucet) to claim free testnet USDC for testing ticket purchases and pool creation.

If the dApp is down or inaccessible, how do I withdraw funds from my account?

Prizee Raffle is built on a Non-Custodial architecture. Your funds never reside on Prizee's web servers; they exist purely on the decentralized Arc Network blockchain. If the frontend website or hosting provider experiences downtime, your assets remain 100% secure, and you can access or withdraw them through several independent methods:

  1. Connected WALLET (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase, Rainbow, Phantom):

    • Tokens sit in that EOA on Arc Testnet (Chain ID 5042002, RPC https://rpc.testnet.arc.io).
    • Open the extension, switch to Arc Testnet, and transfer without the Prizee site.
  2. Leftover Circle SCA (legacy accounts only):

    • New logins do not create a Circle wallet. Profile does not show a Circle wallet or Withdraw.
    • Offline recovery remains through Circle Web3 Services tools for that SCA.
  3. Withdrawing / Claiming from Smart Contracts (CircleSmartEscrow) directly:

    • The CircleSmartEscrow contract is deployed permanently on Arc Network and operates independently of any website.
    • You can navigate to ArcScan Explorer, locate the verified CircleSmartEscrow contract address, connect your Web3 wallet under the Write Contract tab, and interact directly with contract functions (such as claiming pending payouts or initiating eligible refunds).

4. Creator Campaigns & Giveaways

Can anyone create a raffle or jackpot?

Yes! Anyone can connect their wallet and click + Create Pool to organize:

  1. Jackpot Pools: Community-funded or creator-seeded number lotteries with customizable ticket prices, draw intervals, and payout tiers.
  2. Giveaways On-Chain (Raffles): Task-based or FCFS giveaways (e.g. X/Twitter engagement, Discord roles) with USDC, EURC, cirBTC, or custom NFT/Whitelist prizes.

What is the difference between FCFS and Random Draw raffles?

  • First-Come, First-Served (FCFS): Eligible participants who complete tasks claim one slot immediately until the slot cap is exhausted.
  • Random Draw: Participants enter during the open window; winners are scored from a future Arc block hash when the timer expires.

How do custom prizes work?

Custom raffles are off-chain (WL, NFT, merch). The pool label can show the total (e.g. 10 Slot GTD). Each winner is awarded 1 unit (1 Slot GTD). Keep X, Telegram, and wallet filled on Profile so creators can fulfill. Notifications say You received 1 Slot GTD (not “0 USDC”). Tap the notification to open WINNERS.

How are creator prize funds protected?

When a creator creates a pool, the prize amount is deposited into CircleSmartEscrow. If the campaign is canceled prior to launch or encounters an invalid state, creators can trigger an automated smart contract refund.

5. Telegram Bot & Community Feeds

What is @prizee_noti_bot?

@prizee_noti_bot is the official automated Telegram notification bot for Prizee Raffle. It sends real-time alerts for:

  • Winner announcements & jackpot draw payouts.
  • Newly seeded jackpot pools and ticket sales.
  • FCFS task completions and high-value raffle launches.

Can I add the bot to my community Telegram group or channel?

Yes! Simply invite @prizee_noti_bot to your Telegram group or channel as an administrator. It will automatically broadcast live protocol events and winning tickets to your community.

6. Support & Inquiries

Where can I get support or report a bug?
